How a transfer works
A transfer takes three steps, and nothing is debited until the last one.
- Enter the amount. You see the fee, the exchange rate and the exact number of gourdes your recipient will get before you commit. The rate is locked at that point, so a move in the market between confirmation and delivery is not passed on to your recipient.
- Add your recipient. For a mobile wallet that is their full name and wallet phone number. For a bank it is the account number and the bank name. Save them once and the next transfer is a single screen.
- Confirm and track. You get an update at each stage — sent, delivered, completed — by email and in the app.

Three ways to deliver, and the one you pick decides how fast the money lands.

Mobile wallet transfers are the fastest route and the one most people choose, because the recipient needs nothing beyond the phone already in their pocket. Bank transfers take longer because they clear through Haitian banking hours.
What it costs
No markup is added to the exchange rate, and your recipient pays no fee to receive the money in their wallet. The charges are our transfer fee — which depends on how much you send — plus the operator's own charge when the money lands in a wallet, passed through at cost:

Transfer limits
Basic accounts can send up to $100 a day and $500 a month. Completing identity verification raises that to $2,500 a day and $10,000 a month. You can start verification from Identity Verification in your account settings.
What you need to send
A valid ID, your recipient's full name, and either their mobile wallet number or their bank account details. The name on the wallet or account has to match the name you enter — a mismatch is the single most common reason a mobile money transfer is held up.
